GT-65

Cold tests are one of the most common and vital tests being utilized in the fabrication of semi-conductors. They are essential components in the manufacturing process within industries such as automobile, aviation and all critical applications which accept close to zero failure. These tests mostly utilize Liquid Nitrogen LN2 to be able to achieve the low temperatures test profile.

However, the use of Liquid Nitrogen poses certain risks and incurs high expenses. One such risk is the Oxygen Deficiency Hazard that can happen if Nitrogen levels are not monitored in the test floor. The fatal hazard also could happen to workers continual handling of Liquid Nitrogen cylinders, changing of pipes, filling and repairing of LN2 pipe lines. Also, the costs on top of LN2 itself, such as rental, storage, handling of Liquid Nitrogen tanks, the down time due to test handler defrosting are significant.

The GT-65 chiller eliminates the use of Liquid Nitrogen in the semiconductor manufacturers’ testing facilities. It is an air chiller that utilizes a cascaded refrigeration system, which will eliminate most of the safety hazards mentioned above. Users can expect the Return of Investment (ROI) to be around a year depending on the type of handlers, loads and temperature profiles.

GT-65 come in few models, which at least one will surely meet to your test requirement and the footprint similar to a Liquid Nitrogen Tank to suit your test floor.

Climatic and Thermostatic Chambers

Many products and components are expected to operate in various conditions outside of ambient temperature and humidity, causing them to experience thermal fatigue, resulting in premature wear of the equipment. However, with our climatic and thermostatic test chambers, you would be able to force out and detect infancy component failures which would otherwise be detected only after final assembly and delivery.

At STTAi, we provide you various testing solutions that will meet your strict stipulations. You can also expect our chambers to be accurate and reliable as they are manufactured to adhere to international standards IEC 60068-3-5 “Confirmation of the performance of temperature chambers” and IEC 60068-3-6 “Confirmation of the performance of temperature/humidity chambers”. With chambers of varying ramp rates and sizes, you can expose your products to the desired level of humidity and temperature.

Thermal Shock Test

Thermal Shock tests are severe stress tests that check for the material’s ability to withstand rapid changes in temperature. Defects tend to occur when an object experiences sudden thermal expansion or contraction. By exposing your products to thermal shock tests, it will allow you to anticipate and prevent hidden defects in the materials used or the structural integrity of the product.

Here at STTAi, we offer you solutions and methods to conduct these tests and give you free rein to choose and alter the specifics to your desired values. We offer air-to-air and liquid-to-liquid chambers, allowing you the option of the regular, rapid thermal shock tests or an even faster, short and sharp thermal shock test. We also provide the option of double or triple cabinet units, giving you the choice to include the intermediate ambient temperature step.

All our air-to-air thermal shock test chambers meet the international standards IEC68-2-14 (test Na), MIL-STD 202 D/E/F, MIL-STD 883 A/C/D; and all our liquid-to-liquid chambers meet the IEC68-2-14 (test Nc), MIL-STD 202 D/E/F, MIL-STD 883 A/C/D standards.
